This is a beautiful, spacious, comfortable cottage in an idyllic setting. It is well-equipped with excellent kitchen including large fridge-freezer. The garden is a delight with wonderful views and bird-watching opportunities. A real find for us.

We picked this cottage for its remoteness, scenic views and walking access to the woods right from the door. It didn’t disappoint. Warm and cosy inside, it was easy to imagine a farmer and his wife retiring to a small holding tucked away at the bottom of the hill. Hot water, heating and all mod cons covered. There are no immediate neighbours or shops which was perfect for us. The woods lead to a few Wainwright Fells and St Bega’s Church. We all agreed we could live there quite happily for the rest of our days.
