General Comments: Comfortable cottage, well located, with helpful owners. Had everything we needed for a good week's stay with our children. Worth noting that it is near a busy road (though set back), so if you're a light sleeper this may not be the place for you.

General Comments: Rivermead cottage was beautiful. I rated a 9 for comfort purely because there were four adults sharing, the twin room was a little snug for the two adults that shared that room in regards to space. However, it did not spoil their holiday. The lounge was gorgeous and extremely comfortable, with the cooker in the kitchen being easy to use and clean, brilliant. The cottage was exceptionally clean. There are only two public houses locally for food (both recommend), yet penrith was only a £4 maximum taxi ride or short bus ride. We took two motorcycles as our only form of transport and they were parked out of view, just in front of the cottage on a private path. We had an amazing time riding through the lakes seeing the amazing scenery.
Would definitely book again!
