The photos are deceptive, master room small, annoying the door can’t open fully due to furniture. En-suite tiny and shower either boiling or freezing.
Fire lovely.

Hello V - thanks for your review! I am sorry to hear that Rigg Cottage wasn't all you expected it to be. I do my best to represent the cottages the best I can on the website and in the description. I will have a look into the issue you mention with the shower, please do always feel free to contact me with any issues - I am on hand to help if I can. I hope you enjoyed your time at Rigg Cottage and had some lovely, cosy evenings in front of the fire.

The cottage and place was lovely and plenty to do. My only dislike was the mattresses especially the main bedroom were not comfy and think it could do with replacing. Also sofas werent the comfiest. The security light didnt seem to work round the back, front one was fine. Other than that i would go back and reccoment it. Thankyou

Great cottage, lovely local pubs and great area. Loved the train to Ravenglass and Muncaster birds of prey was excellent. Would highly recommend staying at Rigg Cottage.

Hi Adrian, it's such a great area around there, isn't it? I'm delighted that you enjoyed such a wonderful holiday and found time to visit La'al Ratty and the gorgeous birds at Muncaster.
