A fabulous house in a great location. Shops, bars, restaurants and the lake are all walkable. I'd book again in a heartbeat.

Stayed seven nights in this excellent cottage that sleeps up to eight and is less than five minutes walk to Keswick's bustling town centre. Its three double bedrooms and a twin are all clean, comfortable, and served by two family bathrooms and a small but sufficiently equipped kitchen. Car parking in the residential streets surrounding the cottage was tight, but once parked-up the cars didn't have to be moved all week - we launched all our walks and mountain biking trips from Keswick itself. We ate out every night, again the restaurants, pubs and bars of Keswick just a really short stroll around the corner.

Keswick is a great place from where to base a visit to the Lake District and Ratcliffe Cottage is ideal if you need accommodation for 6 to 8 people.

Hi Stephen, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, it's the perfect place for a relaxing break in the heart of Keswick isn't it? Everything is just a short stroll away, it's such a bonus being able to head out exploring and leave the cars behind.
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A fantastic cottage, very clean, comfy beds. Smaller than we expected, especially the living room.
