General Description

Welcome to Rampsbeck House, a fantastic cottage for 6 overlooking stunning Ullswater and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Leave coats and boots in the large and welcoming entrance hallway before continuing into the spacious living room, which has wonderful lake views. Relax on the sofa in front of the electric fire, ideal for cosy evenings in or for spending a peaceful afternoon catching up with a good book. Ornithologists will love sitting in here and watching the comings and goings of the many birds who also like to pay Rampsbeck House - or its garden at least! - a visit. If you can tear your eyes away from the stunning view, there's also a TV with Freeview for entertainment.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, useful microwave and handy washer-dryer. Gather round the wooden table in the separate dining room, which also has breathtaking views over Ullswater, it's the perfect place for comparing notes on the day's adventures over a hearty home cooked meal.

Also on the ground floor is a useful utility area and handy extra WC.

Upwards to the first floor and the sleeping accommodation. There are 3 lovely bedrooms, all with double beds and a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. The master bedroom, closest to the stairs, has views over the lake and its own en-suite bathroom with WC, wasbasin, half-size bath with shower over. There's also a great family bathroom with WC, washbasin and bath with shower over so all tastes are catered for, whether you prefer a soak in the tub or a reinvigorating shower.

Outside is a real treat: a large enlcosed garden with magnificent lake views over Ullswater. With outdoor furniture and a seated picnic area, it's the perfect place for dining al fresco. With Ullswater as your backdrop, you won't want to leave this magical place.
