Great little cottage in a great area of the northern Lake District, loved the log burner, WiFi was a bonus too and the comfort of the double bed and the availability of washing machine was also a bonus for us as we were heading further south for the 2nd week of our holiday only and this is not a criticism but the stairs are steep in the house so young children and adults who have mobility issues need to be careful that said I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

Hello Robert, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's a gem of a cottage, isn't it? The location is glorious! You just can't beat a cosy log burner for kicking back and relaxing in front of - perfect! I'm so pleased the washing machine came in handy for your onward holiday. I'm thrilled you had a great stay and I hope you will return to the beautiful Lakes very soon.

We did have a fantastic family holiday. Cottage was very cosy and very well equipped. There is a pup in in the village, Greyhound inn- which does food. Staff is very friendly. Two lovely towns- Keswick and Cokermouth are only short drive away. Already planning next half term in the Lake District.
