Newcastle upon Tyne Couple
- Ennerdale Brifdge is a lovely community and this part of Cumbria is beautiful. Walking for all abilities nearby and both pubs and the community cafe were good. Worth mentioning is Ennerdale Brewery and bistro as a good place to have a drink and or eat.
The only thing letting our stay down was the sight of overflowing laundry - 4 big bags - and full recycling boxes in the outhouse. The recycling situation may be as a result of there being no refuse collection calendar in the information pack.
The cottage itself is comfortable however it gave the feeling that it requires a bit more TLC, hopefully the lifting of restrictions will generate more bookings to allow the owners to inject a little more of these touches.
The enclosed yard and gardens were appreciated by our dog Duke and he thoroughly enjoyed his stay.

Hi Gillian, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of the Lakes isn't it? I bet Duke was in his element with all those walks on the doorstep!
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
