The property offers accommodation for up to four in two double bedrooms with hotel quality duvets and pillows combined with thick toppers and 400 thread count sateen bedding, to ensure you have the best possible sleep. For those looking for a bit of retail therapy, Keswick has plenty of outdoor and independent shops to potter around. Treat yourself to a cuppa and a slice of cake in one of the many cafes on offer, or, if you fancy something a bit heartier, take your pick from the many pubs and restaurants. Why not stroll down to beautiful Derwentwater where you can feed the ducks or hitch a ride on the launch for a scenic tour of the lake? Take in a play at the renowned Theatre by the Lake or catch a film at the town's Art Deco cinema.

Keswick is ideally situated for exploring the wider Lakes. Enjoy the views along the scenic 20 minute drive to Grasmere - remember to stock up on their world famous gingerbread! Ambleside, Bowness and Windermere are popular South Lakeland towns well worth a visit; from lake cruises and woodlands walks to the World of Beatrix Potter and Blackwell Arts and Crafts House there's something to suit everyone. With so much to do and Plum Tree Cottage perfectly placed to take advantage of everything on offer, one break here just won't be enough.
