Parking Info

There is a dedicated parking space in the parking area to the right of the cottage (this is a communal area). The dedicated space for Pinewood is not marked but it is behind the chains. The chains are padlocked: guests need to lift the end post out of the ground and move it to get into the space. They can replace the post once they have parked up. There is further parking on the street.

General Description

Pinewood House is situated on a quiet Keswick street with excellent access to the town centre and fell views from the bedrooms. The property is entered via the front door into a hallway with staircase. Off this is the lounge, which features a large bay window to the front and comfortable seating around a TV & DVD player. The dining room has a feature fireplace with a coal effect gas fire inset.

In the kitchen there is an electric oven and hob along with a microwave. There is an integrated dishwasher and in the utility room a washing machine and tumble dryer. The gas boiler, fridge and freezer are also located in the utility room. There is a handy cloakroom on the ground floor with a WC and wash basin.

On the first floor there is a second lounge-cum-games room with seating and window to rear. A family bathroom is accessed from this room featuring a bath, separate shower, WC and wash basin. Steps lead to a half landing with a double bedroom with views over the rear garden. This bedroom has an en suite shower room with WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. There is also a single bedroom on this level with its own wash basin.

There is a further double bedroom with a front window looking over the fells, a Victorian feature fireplace, fitted wardrobe and an en suite shower room with WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. A single bedroom also looks to the front and features a hanging rail.
