There is parking space for up to three cars directly outside the house and garage when parked sensibly. Please don't restrict access for the property next door. Due to space restrictions we ask that you do not bring a campervan, motorhome or work van unless agreed by the owner. Please contact the office for more information.

In-house cuisine options are as follows:

1.  Homemade prepared meals prepared by a local caterer; we can arrange less formal meals for you that will be delivered to the property on the agreed day with full cooking instructions, saving you time to enjoy your holiday.

2. Private Catering Service; we can arrange a private chef to cook a 3 course meal for you on site.

3. Special Occasions; if you are celebrating something special, please let us know.

4. Brunch Box; a great selection to cook your own breakfast/brunch, all meat is supplied by Award Winning Dales Butchers.

Pen-y-Ghent can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults. However, additional children may be accommodated by prior arrangement with the owner. Please contact the office for more information.

Pen-y-Ghent can also accept one dog at an extra charge of £40. If you would like to add a dog on to your booking, please call 017687 80571 and we will be able to organise that for you.

General Description

Pen-Y-Ghent is a lovely contemporary home for up to eight people located centrally in the popular market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. Thoughtfully designed with lovely social spaces, comfortable bedrooms, high spec appliances and an outdoor hot tub, it makes the perfect base for families, and small groups to discover this beautiful area. The owner has lovingly brought this place to life from scratch using an elegant eye for interior decor, sumptuous furnishings and textiles as well as cosy underfloor heating throughout. Guests are even treated to complimentary robes and slippers for their stay!

On arrival at the house, guests enter via a glass porch with plenty of space for coats and boots. From here it's onward to the stunning open-plan kitchen and dining space. 

The well-equipped kitchen has been thoughtfully designed to appeal to the foodies among you with four counter-top induction hobs, a fitted double fan oven and eye height microwave. The high quality kitchen also features a large integrated fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all the crockery and cookware you'll need concealed in beautiful bespoke units. There's a breakfast bar and three stools making for sociable food prep and a large modern dining table with plenty of space for long post dinner chats about your adventures. Use the wall mounted Smart TV for music or to catch up on your favourite shows whilst cooking. 

Moving through to the stylish living room guests can relax in the sumptuous grey wool seating arranged around the modern gas stove and wall mounted Smart TV. With well chosen lighting and luxurious throws, it makes a warm and elegant room to spend evenings when you'd rather not go out. The ground floor also has a handy utility room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer along with a downstairs WC.

Upstairs to the four stunning bedrooms. The owner has created relaxing spaces with subtle colour schemes, colourful wall art and stylish soft furnishings. All four have hanging frames and chests of drawers for storage. The three super-king-size bedrooms each have high spec en suite shower rooms all with mixer showers and drencher heads; the largest of these rooms also boasts a wall mounted TV, French doors and a balcony. The fourth bedroom is a smaller twin room opposite the lovely white family bathroom. Light and stylish with a large freestanding bath and separate shower enclosure with mixer shower and drencher head, it makes a wonderful place to sooth tired muscles from your outdoor exertions.

Outside there is parking for up to three cars directly outside the house, there is space in the garage to lock bikes and boats should you be bringing them along. To the rear of the house is a multi level terraced private garden with a fabulous hot tub for up to 8, and dining furniture for making the most of sunny days. Pen-y-Ghent is a truly indulgent property to unwind with friends or family!
