The Parrock is in a lovely rural location with a mill stream running through the garden. It is close enough to be able to access Derwentwater and Cat Bells on foot. Facilities are excellent, well equipped kitchen and comfortable dual aspect lounge. Very useful large hall area to keep boots and coats. Martin and Sue the hosts are lovely and very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Pam, Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. It's the perfect place for getting away from it all isn't it? The location is simply incredible. I hope you had some great days out walking and exploring! The hosts' are simply fantastic and I'm delighted you had the opportunity to meet them. I hope you will plan your next visit to the Lakes very soon.

I hope to return next summer.
Only slight criticism is the nylon sheets, a personal dislike of mine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Parrock despite the inclement weather! We were greeted on our arrival by Martin who showed us around our accommodation, everything was clean and tidy the milk and shortbread biscuits were appreciated. There are plenty of walks from the door, Cat Bells is a must. Good food at the Swinside Inn which is a short walk away, The Chalet in Portinscale is great for lunch.

Hi Amanda, thank you for your comments and handy hints! Martin is delightful, isn't he - and shortbread on arrival too! Fantastic to hear that you had such a wonderful holiday!
