Lovely cottage with everything we needed in a great location. The owners had really thought about the things you need when staying in a self-catering cottage, so all of the extras (dishwasher tablets, toiletries, washing powder, milk etc) were all very much appreciated. We had a lovely stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olives Cottage, the location is ideal for getting around the Lake District. The cottage is spacious and very well equipped, with lots of little extras which were very much appreciated. I would certainly recommend to family and friends, and fully intend returning next year. Really missing the fantastic views from our bedroom window.

Lovely week at Olive's , located in a quiet street with magnificent views across to Skiddaw and other Wainwrights.
Parking for one car on the drive and no trouble finding spaces in the street outside. Despite being next to the A66 traffic noise is minimal.
The Cottage is clean, comfortable and perfect for a small family or couples with plenty of space and storage.
Beds really comfy , loved the shower and plenty of soft fluffy towels. The homely sitting room complete with Netflix TV is a lovely room to relax in and leads straight onto a small decking area.
As another guest pointed out the large extension off the kitchen could possibly be utilised further? Currently great for storing coats, boots etc and housing a downstairs loo and laundry equipment.
We appreciated the little extras such as the dishwashing/ laundry tabs , loo rolls etc and the little Wendy House in the garden is perfect for little visitors.
Braithwaite is a fabulous little village , walks from the door and excellent places to eat and drink with Keswick only a five minute drive away.
We would recommend Olive's and would most definitely return.
