From the North and South

Leave the motorway at junction 40 (Penrith)
Take the A66 westbound, signposted Keswick
Stay on this road for about 19 miles, bypassing Keswick and Portinscale
After Portinscale, ignore the first left hand turn off for Braithwaite
Begin to reduce your speed and take the second left hand turn, just 100 yards further along
Follow this road for a further 100 yards, curving round to the left
Take a sharp left at the triangle green with a tree on it onto Longcroft
Follow Longcroft as it turns right and Olives Cottage is the second cottage on your right (no.17 Longcroft)
Pull into the red gravel drive to park
