Lots of walks direct from the cottage . High Seat with Gregory Chapel and also Wild Boar Fell. These will take you up both sides of the Valley. Viaducts at Ravenstonedale too which we found details of, in the collection of walks at the cottage. We loved this cottage, it has everything you need and is very clean. The owners make you feel very welcome. There are lots if films, plenty of kitchen equipment and local information and a lovely log fire to come home to after your walk. Co op in Kirby Stephen for shopping, Black Bull in Nateby and the Fat Lamb Ravenstonedale are great pubs. When open, so is the Kings Head.
