Just what was needed for an October half term getaway. We had booked this large house for 8 but recent restrictions meant only 4 members of the family were able to go.
The house is in a lovely setting with wonderful views. There was plenty of varied walking right from the door and the house was lovely and warm with the bonus of drying room which was most useful. The kitchen provided everything we needed to self cater and even the dog soon made itself at home.

The owner is super helpful and friendly. One of the best equipped holiday cottages I have ever stayed in. Fantastic dens for kids- they LOVED it. Perfect for kids aged 3+ (ours were 8-11) We will definitely be back. Fantastic location.

Nice property in lovely location and perfect for peaceful relaxation! Local store useful and plenty of pub eating available, although we have a particular allegiance to the Bridge Inn at Santon (excellent menu, well priced and dog friendly).

The property is getting a little “tired” around the edges but the owner shows great concern for “getting it right”.

Keeping the dog downstairs wasn’t a problem, although he did keep us awake at night playing pool as he decided the Games Room was his domain!

Overall, we had a great break there and the gorgeous weather was a bonus.

Hi Robin, thank you for your comments - I'm pleased to hear your dog had fun improving his pool game! It really is a great location, isn't it? Come back and see us again soon!
