Old Brewery Cottage is one of our NEW COTTAGES!

Old Brewery Cottage sits right in the heart of Keswick and is nestled among a small row of terraced cottages on a quiet, private courtyard tucked away down a little passageway paralleling Stanger Street. Its central location is perfect for those wanting to explore the town and surrounding areas without having to travel too far. You can step straight out of your door and stroll around Keswick town centre, where you will find a varied selection of local shops, art galleries, pubs and cafes. The town offers a fantastic range of dining options but for those days when you fancy eating in, the supermarket is just two minutes away and the kitchen is fully equipped. The views surrounding Keswick are simply breathtaking and there are endless options for the walking enthusiast, including idyllic shoreline walks around Derwent Water, only a 15 minute walk away.

This homely cottage is bright and airy and has everything you need for a great stay. The spacious open-plan living room and dining area has wifi, a flatscreen smart TV,  DVD player with a selection of DVDs and a shelf of books and games for both adults and children, so you have everything you need for a relaxed night in!  The modern kitchen is well equipped with plenty of space for group cooking. Upstairs is carpeted throughout and the corridor and stairs are fairly wide, so it's easy to move about the place. The medium sized bathroom is conveniently located next to the bedrooms, a single room and double room. To the rear there is  a small enclosed yard and garden, accessed via the kitchen, which is useful if you need to store bikes or scooters. Garden furniture is stored in a small shed to the side of the cottage.

At the end of your day, you can walk a few meters down the street to The Bank Tavern, a warm and welcoming pub with log fire, good food and a great selection of local ales. Just a few meters further on will take you into the pedestrian part of the town, where  you will find many more pubs, wine bars and restaurants. For those looking for a bit of entertainment, the Alhambra Cinema is a top attraction in the evening, or you can book tickets to a range of performances at the Theatre by The Lake. It's all right on your doorstep!

*Please note: there is currently scaffolding up next door to Old Brewery Cottage while the finishing touches are being done to some newly built houses. Please contact the office if you require any further information about this.
