- The apartment had great views all round, and was at a great location for walking, situated just off a bridleway, and would be a very short drive to other walking hubs like Little Town or Stair. The first half our our week was very wet and windy, so we mainly stayed in the house. There's a TV, a DVD player and some board games so it was easy to pass time. Wifi and phone signals were intermittent in the living room, but we later found that the signal were stronger in the bedroom and bathroom, with it being closer to the main farm house, so that's all good. The host was around to answer questions which was also very helpful. The apartment was very comfy and clean. The only thing that made us slightly anxious was the drive to the apartment. The apartment could be accessed by only the Newlands Pass, which was bendy and narrow. When there's oncoming traffic sometimes it will require reversing for a little while, not ideal in the dark. Also it could be dangerous to drive on if the roads were icy. It rained really hard for the first few days of our visit but fortunately the roads were not flooded (only some big puddles in places). This is something to be aware of, especially for drivers not used to these types of road conditions. Overall we really liked the apartment and had an enjoyable stay. Thanks!
