Please note that there are approximately 35 steps leading up to the front door, there is a wooden hand rail alongside these.
The lodge is heated by storage heaters and electric panel heaters in living area and electric panel heaters in bedrooms.
Initial basket of logs provided.
Please note that the lodge has 7 bed spaces, but is only suitable for a maximum of 6 people.

General Description

From the parking spot, wooden stairs lead to The Nuttery which is perched on top of a hill commanding fantastic views of the Pennines and surrounding Lake District fells. It is a wonderful position.

The lodge is entered by the front door into a lobby with boot and coat racks. The main living area is light and spacious, with patio doors leading out onto the terrace. The living room area has comfy seating, a woodburner, 48 inch flat screen TV with freeview channels, DVD player and wifi. There are books, DVDs and board games available to use.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, washing machine and plenty of storage space. There is dining for six people and a small breakfast bar.

There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an ensuite shower room with power shower. There are patio doors leading out to a second terrace which gets the morning and early afternoon sun.

The second bedroom is for three people - here there are a set of bunks and a single bed.

The third bedroom has a double bed.

The bathroom has bath with power shower over it, toilet and sink.

In addition to the two terraces outside, there is a lawned area for children to play on.
