Mundesley, GB Couple
We've stayed at How Cottage before, as it's ideal for our walking - low and high-level walks from the door, and beautiful scenery. The quiet suits us, although the village's proximity to the river makes it a weekend draw for many, and hence parking can present difficulties, and for ourselves, too, at the cottage if we have more than one car. The two cafes offer ideal and good value walkers' food. We had a down-side this year in that the cottage's cleanliness - mainly in the kitchen - left a lot to be desired, but although that was initially disappointing, the glory of Borrowdale (in heatwave and in rain) more than made up for it!

Great location, great service from Sally's cottages. Easy to find and easy key pick up. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. It was just slightly dirty, particularly downstairs in the kitchen and the lounge. The upstairs bedrooms were very nice.
