"We had an absolutely fantastic week and the house was brilliant. We are definitely wanting to return next year!"
"We had a great family stay at Fisherground. The property was just as described on the website, but best of all it was clean and on the whole well cared for. Although it was in a very quiet area - with the main food shops being some distance (time-wise if not mile wise!), the great thing about this place is Tesco deliver so more time to explore the area. A great place for walking and chilling out with friends/family, and it accommodated the large numbers with ease both for relaxing in soft seating or at the fantastic dining room table. Also lots of nice big cooking dishes for 'large group easy oven bake' meals. Great pub within walking distance that did reasonable meals, with a friendly landlord. Nice touch in the house was the cupboard full of puzzles, games (old!!) books and DVDs etc, to use."
“We had a wonderful week. Thank you. Three generations of family and we all really enjoyed it! I'm a seasoned Eskdale/Wasdale visitor but for some of the younger ones it was their first time in the Lakes and they fell in love with it! We took a group of 9 up Scafell on New Year's Eve, trudging through thick snow at the top (an experience they won't forget), had a couple of beers in the local pub each evening recounting the day's adventures and then back to the cottage for a 'Come Dine with Me' style, themed dinner every night at the great big dining table! The accommodation was perfect, we enjoyed a truly memorable New Year Holiday!â€
"Once again, thank you for your professionalism and the lovely house - I think they are already talks about booking again next year! "
"I just wanted to write a note to you to say what an enjoyable stay we had at Fisherground Farmhouse. I rented it for my 30th birthday and it was a great location for my friends, family and I to celebrate. We all agreed the cottage was lovely - very spacious even for such a large party. There was everything we could have needed and the booking was handled seemlessly by Sally's cottages. I look forward to returning to Eskdale and Fisherground! Thank you for helping to make the occasion a memorable one."
