The kitchen is light and spacious, with a traditional slate flagged floor and chunky wooden dining table. A woodburning stove next to the dining table provides extra warmth and a cosy feel. The kitchen is furnished to a high standard with granite worktops, electric cooker, fridge/freezer and a slimline dishwasher. A washing machine is located in the outside storage room. There is a utility room off the kitchen for wet coats and boots.
Stairs off the hallway lead upstairs. Halfway up the stairs is the Victorian style bathroom that has a deep freestanding bath, a separate shower cubicle, WC, bidet and washbasin.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, one king-size bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and enjoy lovely views of Eskdale. All the bedrooms have a chest of drawers and cast iron feature fireplaces. There is additional storage in a walk in wardrobe in the hallway.
Outside there is a lovely garden, often visited by red squirrels. There is a pretty terrace of shrubs and plants, a patio and sitting out area and a lawn. A barbecue is provided; please bring your own charcoal. The village shop is a 5 minute walk away and sells plenty of goods for a family barbecue. The garden enjoys a sunny aspect and views to Eskdale.
There is parking for two cars on the driveway. Please note the drive is very short but fairly steep. It is unsuitable for low wheel base cars. Further parking can be found in the village car park a short distance away if necessary.
Mobile reception is limited in Eskdale however there is a signal booster for Orange/EE in the area.
