Kiln How Cottage is a perfect cottage for two in the tranquil hamlet of Rosthwaite. With comfortable ground floor accommodation, designated parking and easy access to a world of fantastic fell walking it makes the ideal base for a couple or solo traveller to enjoy this area.
On arrival there is parking available in a covered garage next to the cottage. Entering the cottage guests first come to the lovely open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This is a charming room with two high backed comfy armchairs, a wall mounted electric bar heater and a television with Freeview for entertainment. The kitchen area is equipped with microwave, fridge, freestanding electric cooker and hobs. There's also plenty of crockery and cookware for your stay.
Moving on through the hallway brings you to the delightful double bedroom. It has a romantic white metal bedstead with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a window and skylight drenching the room in light. The bathroom has an over-bath electric shower and for further storage there is a utility cupboard in the hallway.
Guests can use the large garden which is shared with the apartments in the main Kiln How House. It's a wonderful outdoor area with mature trees, a lawn, dining furniture and glorious views. Perfect for enjoying a sunny evening after an enjoyable day on the fells.
