General description

The front door opens into a delightful open-plan living space which is flooded with light from the overhead skylights in the pitched roof. To your left is a small room housing a toilet and washbasin. Beyond that is a spacious kitchen with exposed stone wall and breakfast bar seating for four people. A backdoor leads from the kitchen onto the cobbled path behind the property where there is a small yard with hanging space and a gate to the neghbouring farmyard. The kitchen is stocked with everything you're likely to need during your stay. It is equipped with an electric fan oven and four electric hobs, slimline dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. This property is made to feel even more spacious with the full height pitched ceiling, and its homely charm is enhanced by its abundance of character.

Its rustic appeal continues as you climb the half a dozen stairs up to the mazzanine offering open plan living dining accommodation. Exposed beams, original lintels and quirky alcoves are complimented by the large skylights and comfortable and elegant furnishings to provide a pleasant and unique space. A dining table offers comfortable seating for 4 guests overlooking the kitchen, while two sumptious sofas are arranged around a coffee table with a flatscreen TV, DVD player and Sky system. The owners have thoughtfully provided a variety of books, games and puzzles for guests to enjoy on a quiet night in.

Back at the front door, three steps lead to the lower ground floor where there are two stylish double bedrooms, each with their own storage. A window in each offers plenty of light and the bathroom in between the two contains a bath with shower over, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. Spectacular paintings from a local artist compliment the simple decor throughout this little gem.

Outside, a picnic bench on the small patio area offers a delightful place to sit to enjoy the pretty gardens. The slate driveway beyond has ample space for turning and parking, making loading and unloading the car a breeze.
