Excellent accommodation with only a small number of issues which did not affect our enjoyment, have emailed separately regarding these.

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It would have been nice to have had a downstairs cloakroom. The house has a great character and was individual which we liked. The local shop is excellent but the local village pub was strange in that it seemed closed during advertised opening hours, hence reduced score!
Great location for walking the northern lakes area and Kirkstile Inn at Loweswater is excellent for food and drink and ambience.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Elaine. I'm so glad you had a great break and enjoyed this unique building. How strange about the local pub! But I'm glad you found the Kirkstile Inn, one of my all time favourites. I've passed on your comment to the owner about a downstairs cloakroom in case it's possible! I hope you'll be able to come back some time soon...

Loved it ... but a couple of drawbacks. High chair was broken and a family member had problems with the resident bat! Right on the river and Higher Lorton was just so peaceful and quiet. The village pub was quite a walk away ... so transport needed. Plenty of cooking utensils at the house ... we stayed in and ate. Would definitely go back again as suited our needs.

Hi Christine, thank you for your review. I'm so pleased you had such a great time at Brewery House. The Lorton Vally is so beautiful isn't it?
Thank you for letting me know about the highchair, I've passed this on to the owner. I've also mentioned the bat!
I hope you can come back again soon, we'd love to have you.
