Summer is here and with longer days and sunnier weather, it's been amazing to see lots of people enjoying the Lake District and Cumbria. I'm also thrilled to introduce our newest holiday cottages. Remote farm cottages, bustling town centre abodes, indulgent luxury getaways, they're all here!

Woodbine House, Patterdale

Luxury is the word for Woodbine House in Patterdale! On the southern tip of Ullswater lake, this cottage is traditionally stone built but holds a modern world of clean lines and open space. There are multiple wood burners, wooden shutters and window seats, and the original features are exquisitely framed amongst the modern decor. If you love the tranquil village life, then Hillside Cottage in Eskdale Green will make your day! This sleepy collection of houses is surrounded by the stunning craggy scenery of the valley and you can admire the mountains from the windows of your cottage. There's plenty of room to spread out, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, two double bedrooms, a twin and a lounge with a wood burner. For comfort and convenience in one of the Lake District's most popular towns, you can't get better than Johns Cottage! At the top of the pedestrianised high street and opposite the local independent cinema, it has an impressive first-floor lounge with exposed timber frames, as well as a ginormous kitchen-diner. Portinscale sits on the edge of Derwentwater and is one of the most popular villages in the North Lakes. With easy access to the water, fells, and Keswick town, it's ideal for a Lakes break!
