It's a brand NEW cottage!

Published:

We're hopping over the border to the glorious Yorkshire Dales today (while staying in Cumbria, how does that work?!?). I can't think of anything better than that on a cold November day!

Here we have our newest cottage... the lovely COOPER'S COTTAGE!

Cooper's Cottage Lounge

Set in the pretty village of Ravenstonedale this one is worth venturing that bit further away from the hustle and bustle of the central lakes for. With its traditional stone houses and 3 (yes 3!) pubs perfect for foodies, Ravenstonedale is the perfect place for exploring this part of the Yorkshire Dales as well as The Lakes. Quiet country roads are ideal for two wheels and four legs - 2 dogs are allowed at Cooper's Cottage. This is an agricultural area though, so do keep an eye out for tractors!

A cosy and charming spot, Cooper's Cottage is a delight from start to finish. From the flagstone floors to the fantastic wood burner, there are lovely character features throughout - enough to make you feel instantly at home! The modern country style of Cooper's is a real treat: why not relax in the leather wingback chair with your feet up?

Dining at Cooper's Cottage

Downstairs is the delightful kitchen. With space for dining and a charming dresser top, this is wonderful room for catching up and planning your adventures. The living room is at the front of the house. This room is just crying out to be relaxed in with the comfy sofas cosily arranged around the aforementioned wood burning stove.

The downstairs twin at Cooper's Cottage

Also on the ground floor is the twin bedroom. With matching white metal beds, the charming country feel flows throughout the house. The picture window overlooks the village green - if you're lucky, you might just spot the red squirrels that call this quant village home too!

The master bedroom at Cooper's Cottage

Head up the stairs to the master bedroom and family bathroom. The white metal bed in here is kingsize this time, making it just as charming as the twin room. The views are no less lovely either - look out over the green and surrounding village, you'll feel like you've escaped it all!

Cooper's Cottage

There's parking for two cars outside and a small, enclosed courtyard - perfect for that morning cuppa. If you are bringing bikes to explore this beautiful area, you can store a couple in the outbuilding, which also handily doubles as a useful boot room and washhouse.

If you're looking for a charming, characterful, homely retreat from the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life then you need look no further than Cooper's Cottage!
