Naseby is a beautiful one-bedroomed first floor apartment, part of the stunning 18th century Orton Hall. Set in 5 acres of shared parkland and woodland, Naseby offers a wonderfully relaxing home-from-home for two people to explore this beautiful corner of the Dales. Once you've finished exploring outside and collected your keys, enter the Grade II Listed Hall, whose indoor facilities in the large ground floor panelled lounge include a snooker /pool table, baby grand piano, chess table and comfortable armchairs in which to just relax around the coffee table. Head to the top of the stairs to find your apartment. Naseby is full of character with gorgeous stone mullioned windows and part-panelled living room. The  open plan kitchen-living-dining room is a lovely social space: move easily from cooking up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen to relaxing on the sofa! The spacious bedroom with king bed is wonderfully relaxing, with a modern ensuite featuring a spa bath and power shower. Entertainment is covered by a large stock of games and reading material including maps & local information, plus dedicated wifi and a Smart TV.

Orton is sited perfectly, within the National Park and at the overlap of the Lakes, the Dales and the Vale of Eden. In this picturesque village you'll find a general store with deli and Post Office counter, the George pub, a historic Church, a choice of two cafes, and Kennedys Chocolate Factory! It's a lovely village for exploring on foot and there are plenty of footpaths and bridleways to stroll amongst the gentle hills. Make sure you take some chocolates to keep you going! A drive 10 minutes north over the high limestone of Orton Scar will take you to Crosby Ravensworth, another picturesque Dales village with its own pub. An easy and scenic 20-minute drive east will take you to Kirkby Stephen, a quaint market town. Here you'll find antique shops, bakeries, chippies, and an Indian restaurant, as well as a large Co-Operative supermarket for stocking up.
