Set in the heart of the beautiful Newlands Valley, Mill Cottage sleeps 6 people and has just been completely renovated and refurbished by the owner. The Cottage overlooks Catbells and has the stunning backdrop of Causey Pike, both of which can be accessed from the cottage.
Mill Cottage has been converted from a former corn mill, retaining many original features inside to offer comfortable and welcoming self catering accommodation. It occupies a tranquil rural location, set within 2 acres of garden and woodlands. There is secure storage for bikes and outdoor equipment and a handy boot room.
Newlands Valley is the picture perfect valley where Beatrix Potter wrote many of her tales. The mountain scenery is wonderfully inspiring and the fell walking here is second to none. For those wishing to cycle, then the testing Newlands Pass is on the doorstep, as well as Whinlatter and Honister for the brave.
The Swinside Inn is half a mile away, serving good food and drink. Their beer garden is an excellent spot to watch the sun set. Keswick is only 4 miles away offering a wide selection of pubs, cafes and shops.
Next door to Mill Cottage is The Parrock, which also sleeps 6 people. Both cottages can be hired together - ideal for two families looking to go away on holiday.
