The cottage was lovely and was in a perfect location. We had beautiful views out the back and front. The local pub Phoenix Inn did good food and very friendly staff. It was only a 15 minute walk into Keswick Town Centre and within easy reach of all the various locations.
The only thing we would make anybody ware of is the stairs to the bedroom in the loft are steep but that did not concern us and we found the radiator didn’t get very hot. Apart from that the cottage was stunning and extremely good value for money. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anybody wishing to stay in that area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Mattress was hard, would benefit from a better one.
Very nice cottage in a good location in Keswick.
Front and rear gardens were good.
Will use Meadow Cottage again.

Six of us and a small dog stayed at Meadow Cottage, and we loved it. There is a brilliant back garden up steps - we could hear owls (and only a little bit of Keswick traffic) from the front garden bench and also the back garden. The sitting room was cosy, shower and bath felt luxurious and the kitchen had all the kit. Beds super comfortable too. My one request would be to have an outside washing line as it would have then been easier to dry off wet swimming/paddleboarding kit. We were lucky to visit in a very sunny week - if it had been rainier it would have been good to have more hooks to hang up wet coats. Thank you for making such a lovely cottage available for a holiday.

Hello Pete, Thank you for your glowing review! I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay. I really appreciate your feedback and I will look into your suggestions for a washing line and more coat hooks. Here's to more Cumbrian adventures!
