Our opinion is that if you get the slightest chance to go to Low Swinside JUST DO IT! It has space and character and wonderful views and a really lovely dining area with glass almost surrounding it. Delightful wooden furniture too - and it’s a house with so much character. The only reason we gave a 9 for Local Amenities was because we didn’t need to use them (except of course for walks which were super - lots of them detailed in the cottage). We had everything we needed - all 12 of us. We can’t rate it too highly.

Hello Paul, I love getting feedback like this - thank you so much. It's a fantastic property for a big get together isn't it? Everything about it just blows you away! You picked a fabulous location for getting out and about on some great walks. I hope you all made some lovely memories and will plan your next big get together in the beautiful Lakes very soon.

overall most enjoyable.
found the heating to have a mind of its own and the ladies in the group felt heating not adequate.
no blankets for the cold moments either.
one of the ovens in the cooking range did not work.
the road to the house was a bit of a challenge on a couple of occasions for lack of passing places.

We had a wonderful long weekend. Grownups and children really loved the space in the house and wonderful views. Walks from the house and not a long drive to Buttermere but a very scenic one. Definitely recommend.
