Last minute break for us and what a great find. Clean and comfortable, hosts very friendly and found us equipment that was lacking very quickly.......corkscrew essential and put to good use. Great base for touring and makes many of the fells very accessible. We would be very happy to return again soon

What else could I do but give 10's all round? Beautiful cottage in gorgeous surroundings. Easy distance to Keswick, Pooley Bridge, Ullswater to name a few with an abundance of walks close by (we chose Blencathra which is visible from the Inn as our 'big' walk). Cottage had everything we needed to hand. The bed was roomy and so comfortable, and the bathroom looked pretty much brand new. Extra points for the super deep bath! Also have to comment that the staff at the Troutbeck Inn were exceptional, nothing too much trouble (they even managed to squeeze us in for a lovely Sunday dinner). Have to say we would recommend without hesitation, and we will definitely be back.

Lovely clean accommodation, good location the only thing I would suggest is a bit more light in the lounge but it wouldn’t put me off staying again, it was more if an observation.
