A great place for a couple with one child to stay. The accommodation is good, the location is fine, and the views to Skiddaw are fantastic. It is a little bit isolated and to get much in the way of supplies means a 15 minute drive to Keswick or Cockermouth, but at least that also means that it's nice and quiet.

Hi Peter, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your break, it's a lovely place to escape from the hustle and bustle for a while isn't it? The views are stunning! I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A lovely cottage and lovely stay. A larger fridge would have been useful for a self catering stay, otherwise perfect.

Clean and comfortable cottage. Lovely and quiet. Very, very large garden which our dog absolutely loved. Although we experienced so so weather we did sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoyed the beautiful view and peace. There are a couple of pubs that are quite close that serve food but the nearest shop is a car journey away so bring adequate provisions if you don't want to use the car. Top tip put sunflower hearts on the bird table and a couple of nut hatches will come along with lots of other birds. Rabbits and an owl are frequent visitors to the garden too.
