From Leeds/Skipton: Keep on the A65 past Ingleton to the A687 to join the route above.
From M6 J36: Follow A65 towards Kirby Lonsdale then continue past the town and through Cowan Bridge. 2.2 miles after Cowan Bridge there is a signposted, but slightly hidden turning on the left to Mason Gill. The turning is opposite a signpost to the Ireby Green farm café.
In Mason Gill, the road goes around the hamlet in a pear shape – see below. On the edge of the Hamlet, take the first left turn and follow it round the bend. You will see an area of open land on the left and just before the driveway on the right is the first parking space by the bins. If you go a little further, you go past the drive which leads to the front door. DO NOT PARK ON THIS DRIVEWAY. You will then see the back garden and drive of Little Barras shortly on the right. This is the other parking spot. It is easier to approach the back garden parking spot from this direction, but the road goes round in a circle, turning back towards the main road past the telephone box and you can leave the hamlet again by following the road round.
The postcode for Little Barras is LA6 3NN. We do advise that you follow the above directions to reach the cottage.
