General Description

A very warm welcome to Larch Cottage (Greystoke), a charming stone cottage located in the pretty village of Greystoke.

A useful entrance porch is ideal for storing coats and shoes before continuing through to the lovely living-dining room. Stylishly furnished and decorated in greys and blues, this cosy room is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring. Settle down on the 2-seater sofa or armchair in front of the large wood burner, curl up with a good book or unwind in front of the TV, complete with BT channels including BT Sport. The tall dining table and chairs makes great use of the space and allows for convivial dining in this social space.

The recently refurbished kitchen is a real joy, with original character features sitting happily alongside the new extension. Beauty and function come together fantastically here as the stunning kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The cooks in the group are sure to love the top of the range electric oven with super induction hob. In the kitchen you'll also find a handy microwave, useful dishwasher - no fighting over the washing up here! -, toaster, kettle, fantastic larder cupboard, built in fridge-freezer, plus an extra wine fridge. From the kitchen window there are views over the neighbouring gardens to the fields beyond. The shower room can be found off the kitchen. Small but perfectly formed with grey herringbone-style tiles and more of those lovely deep blue tones. In here you'll find the WC, washbasin and modern shower, complete with 2 shower heads. There's also a handy towel rail for warm towels after your shower. Both the kitchen and shower room benefit from underfloor heating, so no need to worry if you forget to pack your slippers!

Onwards and upwards to the two bedrooms. At the top of the stairs on your left you'll find the first double bedroom, with the second double bedroom on your right. Both rooms are decorated in a beautiful whites and neutral grey tones, helping you feel instantly calm and relaxed. Both bedrooms benefit from a chest of drawers for storage as well as useful wall-mounted extendable brackets for hanging clothes up. The larger of the bedrooms (on the right) also contains a dressing table and chair.

Although there is no garden, with the village on your doorstep and plenty of footpaths and bridleways to explore locally, Larch Cottage (Greystoke) really is a charming place for 3/4 people and 1 dog.
