Lantys is an ideal holiday location for walking the Lakes. The house itself could be amazing, it’s ready for a refresh. The best part of the house is the conservatory with its amazing views over Lattrigg. The sun screens on the roof let it down has some are broken and full of dead flys. One thing I would suggest is a better vacuum cleaner as the smelly Henry with no bag in doesn’t get the dog hair off the carpets, it needs an upright with brushes that beat the carpet. A small radio in the kitchen would have been nice. But over all we would recommend it and use it again.

Hi Brian, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm glad you enjoyed your break, it's a lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries isn't it?
I really appreciate your feedback and suggestions for improvement, thank you. I'll make sure we look into everything you've highlighted.
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

Had a fabulous stay at Lanty. Nice 20 minute walk along the old railway line Into town. Cottage had everything we needed and was in a lovely peaceful location with parking for 2 cars. A lovely, homely house with plenty of room for the 5 of us, would book again.

Great cottage and superb customer service from Sally's once again. Lots of rooms, 2 showers, full sized dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Garden is small and has no grass, but we are out most days when in the Lakes so it easy an issue. Being 20 minute walk from Keswick town centre is brilliant add a 5 minute walk to Castlerigg Stone Circle. Well recommended.
