Lovely cottage in great location. House very smart and has all the mod cons and was very spacious. My only criticism is that it can be a little bit noisy as right next to a road.

A wonderful cottage that has everything. Lovely place to relax and let the day go by. Loved our 2 weeks here.

Outside bath lovely, garden v small and road noisy, bathrooms and bedrooms need hooks to hang stuff, heating boiling, kitchen appliances too complicated, not enough chairs for six, no dressing table stool or cupboards in one bedroom, bbq nowhere to be seen, had to take delivery of linen early one morning, dirty glasses in cupboard when arrived. The house is special and bedrooms and main bathroom a great size. We certainly didn't hate Kirkbank and were sad to leave. A difficult week for us all as we had come up to reclimb Scafell Pike in honour of our son Chris who tragically died after falling from Broad Stand on 29th August 2018 aged just 25.
