- We had a fabulous stay at key moss the house was big enough for all of us and the garden is fantastic, the only downfall was the garden furniture was abit weathered and dilapidated in parts so could do with a abit updating, also it would have been nice to have abit of shade in the garden or even a hot tub as we went on one of the hottest weeks and the sun was abit unbearable, there could also be abit more lighting in the garden and out front as its abit dark at night. The bedrooms were a nice size and really comfortable plus having 3 bathroooms was a bonus so people wernt fighting over the showers. Also the kitchen had everthing you needed and more. Amenties are a short drive to grange over sands but only consist of a small co op and tesco express but were enough for us as spent most days having barbecues, but there isnt many eateries there and plus you have to book in advance with the current situation atm so had abit of a struggle in that part. This house is perfect for a quiet getaway but for a lakedistrict lover its abit out of the way in terms of accessibility, but there is some lovely walks right on the door step with a lovely view point at the top of the hill over looking the cottage which is about a 15/20 min walk. And jist up the road is the Halecat garden centre which is a lovely place to visit with a vast selection of plants.

Hi Gemma, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your break, it's a lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries isn't it? And the fabulous weather was an added bonus!
I really appreciate your feedback about the garden furniture, I'll make sure we get that looked at.
I hope you can look forward to another break soon.
