What an absolute gem! We had an absolute fantastic time during our week at Keskadale! The location is in the heart of the breathtaking Newlands Valley - views are absolutely phenomenal and the farm is also close to many local amenities and attractions. What a treat waking up each morning hearing the rooster crowing, sheep bleating and the cows moo-ing! The accommodation is cozy, comfortable and as can be expected of a static caravan. The hot water pressure is a bit trickly (but nice and hot), so we learned to run 'a bath' with the shower head instead of showering and rinsing off with a jug - not a biggie at all! I also boiled a kettle to wash dishes instead of running the water by tap. Margaret is a wonderful, friendly and attentive host and we will most definitely look at booking again. We will also recommend the location to friends and family! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

We booked this fairly late, because of the uncertainty around Covid-19, and knew that it wouldn't be quite as luxurious as the Sally's Cottages that we usually go for. But that's fine - it's a caravan after all! I am quite tall, so found the constant ducking a challenge, the kids beds were tiny and the water pressure from the shower was poor.... but overall I would say the view, cleanliness and location more than made up for any shortcomings - and it was a bargain.

Situated on a friendly, family-run, working farm high in the Newlands Valley, Keskadale Farm has stunning views over the surrounding fells. The caravan itself has a magnificent outlook nestling below Robinson and looking towards Catbells. We had many beautiful walks straight from the caravan - exploring the Newlands Valley with it’s beautiful church, around to Catbells and the whole horseshoe from High Spy to Robinson. When we did venture out on four wheels, Buttermere and Crummock Water were just a couple of minutes drive, whilst Keswick for provisions was about 15 minutes away. There’s lots to see on the farm itself and the lovely friendly owners are more than happy to answer any (seemingly daft!) questions you may have. We genuinely enjoyed our stay here and would most highly recommend for those wanting a ‘get away from it all’ traditional Lakeland experience.
