If you are looking for a luxurious holiday cottage for up to eight people where you can relax and enjoy not only the Yorkshire Dales but the Lake District too then Ingleborough House surely fits the bill. Lovingly designed and brought to life by an owner with an elegant eye for modern design and a flair for harnessing light and space, it's sure to tick all the boxes. Boasting sumptuous contemporary furnishings, high spec bathrooms and appliances, cosy underfloor heating and even a private hot tub, this is definitely a holiday home you'll want to return to time and time again.

Kirkby Lonsdale is a gem of a town nestled in a privileged position between the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. It's a paradise of quirky independent shops, highly regarded eateries and even a traditional weekly market all nestled by the lovely River Lune. Ingleborough House is just a short walk from all that this delightful town has to offer. Why not potter along to Devil's Bridge or take the river path to "Ruskin's View" along the Lune? Immortalised in a painting by Turner, you can take a picnic and admire this iconic view more than a century on. Take a walk down Salt Pie Lane in the town centre to soak up the history or treat younger visitors to a visit to the Enchanted Chocolate Mine beneath the chocolate shop!

If you'd like to venture slightly further afield during your stay then you'll be well rewarded. Kirkby Lonsdale is perfectly placed on the western side of the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Eastern Lake District, making it a fantastic spring board for exploration. You can catch the picturesque Carlisle to Settle Railway at Dent or visit the magical White Scar Cave system near Ingleborough. Sedbergh, known as England's book town, is 11 miles away and well worth a visit. While beautiful Windermere in the southern Lake District is just a half hour's drive. Of course, you might be just as happy staying at home relaxing in the complimentary robes or soaking in the hot tub in the indulgent surroundings of Ingleborough House.

The owner of Ingleborough House also offers catering packages for guests, for further details see the Accommodation summary.
