Wastwater is 6 miles away framed by the magnificent fells of Great Gable and Scafell Pike - on a sunny day it provides a truly unforgettable view.

There is a large open-plan living/dining room with comfortable sofas, wood burner and Sky television. A good selection of books, games and maps are available. The farmhouse kitchen is brilliantly equipped for entertaining and includes a large rustic dining table, dishwasher, full size fridge and freezer and electric oven and hob.
The kitchen and living room both open onto a slate patio and picnic area with a spacious enclosed garden/lawn beyond. There is also a BBQ available for those warm summer evenings. There is a second smaller sitting room, also with a cosy wood burner. This is the older part of the house, where there is a small dining/study area in the entrance hall.
First-floor accommodation is reached by two separate staircases from different parts of the house. The first staircase leads to two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom. There is a family bathroom comprising of a bath with shower over, wash basin and WC.

There is a games barn at the back of the property which has table tennis and table football (please note it is an open barn). There is a log store outsider and guests are welcome to use wood from here and leave money in the honesty box. Two travel cots and one high chair are also available.
