Hinning House is a spacious and well appointed property, perfect for entertaining large groups of up to 14.
There is a large open-plan living/dining room with comfortable sofas, wood burning stove and Sky television. A good selection of books, games and maps are available. The farmhouse kitchen is brilliantly equipped for entertaining and includes a large rustic dining table, dishwasher, full size fridge and freezer and electric oven and hob.
The kitchen and living room both open onto a slate patio and picnic area with a spacious enclosed garden/lawn beyond. There is also a BBQ available for those warm summer evenings. There is a second smaller sitting room, also with a cosy wood burner. This is the older part of the house, where there is a small dining/study area in the entrance hall.
First floor accommodation is reached by two separate staircases from different parts of the house. The first stair case leads to two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom. There is a family bathroom comprising of a bath with shower over, washbasin and WC.
The second staircase leads to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom.There is a further family bathroom with a bath and shower over, a washbasin and WC. A useful airing cupboard is available for storing wet outdoor gear.
Outside there is access to 12 acres of garden, pasture and woodland. Horse stabling is available by prior arrangement with the owner. There is a games barn at the back of the property which has table tennis and table football (please note it is an open barn). There is a log store outsider and guests are welcome to use wood from here and leave money in the honesty box. Two travel cots and one high chair are available.
