Was a bit disappointed when we first got there as the property looked a bit tired. There was a big stain on the carpet by the stairs and a few cobwebs around the house.
But, as we settled in for the week, the cottage started to grow on us and we loved to come back at night, get the log fires going and relax.
By the end of the week we were sad to leave.

Hi Brian, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your week, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it? I bet it was treat to come back to those lovely fires after a day out in the fresh Lakes air!
I'm sorry to hear that some of the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch when you arrived. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I'll make sure I address it with the cleaner. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A little disappointed that there was a huge stain on the hall carpet and the welcome biscuits were out of date and soggy! Overall a beautiful cottage with everything you need, great location and also quiet for a complete relax and recharge

it's the perfect place to get away from it all isn't it? I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

Lovely cottage in a very quiet location (just what we wanted).
Peaceful, interesting garden - the perfect staycation away from crowds.
Ennerdale is a gorgeous lake and so close to that too.
No services or amenities in Kirkland, meaning driving everywhere from cottage.
Thanks for a gorgeous stay - we will be back x

Hi Kevin, thank you for your comments, it sounds like you had a great time. Ennerdale is wonderful isn't it Did you know it's where Bill Clinton first proposed to Hilary? Here's to more peaceful getaways!
