A charming cottage, full of character features, Hill View is a wonderful cosy retreat for up to 3 people and 2 lucky dogs.
Head inside and you go straight into the quirky-shaped kitchen-diner. In here you'll find an electric oven with ceramic hob, fridge, handy microwave and useful dishwasher. A utility area at the end of the kitchen also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, should you need to make use of that during your stay. A wood burning stove sits next to the dining area, making this is a lovely cosy spot for enjoying a home cooked meal. The charming living room is full of character with wonderful original exposed beams and a stone flagged floor. Relax on the sofa in front of the wood burning stove here and compare notes on the days events. There's also a TV for entertainment too.
The stairs lead off the kitchen up to the first floor and the 2 lovely bedrooms. The first is a spacious double room, with a feature fireplace and original wooden beams. There's also a wardrobe and useful chest of drawers for storage, and a cute window seat, the perfect spot for catching up with a good book - or simply take a seat and watch the world go by. The second bedroom is just as lovely as the first. This room is a single bedroom but it does have a three quarter bed. There are also more of those characterful exposed beams and a useful wardrobe too.
Also on the first floor is the spacious family bathroom. In here you'll find the WC, washbasin and a bath with shower over. Whether you prefer a relaxing soak in the bath or a refreshing shower, there's a ladder radiator to warm your towels.
Outisde is a delightful rear garden. Accessed via the owner's garage next door, this garden is shared with the owners but there is a fenced off area including a patio and a quirky wooden summer shed with a small wood burner that is available for private use by guests and their dogs. The garden is only available April to October and it's a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy the spring/summer sunshine. To the front of the cottage is another small area that catches the sun from early in the morning all the way through to late afternoon. Enjoy your morning coffee out here before heading off on your day's adventures.
