Just returned from a relaxing stay at Hill Cottage. We are fairly regular visitors to the Lakes and found the cottage exceptionally clean and very comfortable for all of us. Modern facilities made for easy self catering. After a days walking/ sightseeing it was lovely to come back to the patio especially with the extreme hot weather! Great view of Skiddaw and surrounding hills from the bedrooms. Thanks for a lovely break.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hill Cottage. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Braithwaite is a lovely village in a beautiful setting, with village shop, pubs & a very good restaurant all within walking distance. The garden was a great spot to relax after a day spent exploring. Top tip: make sure you buy some midge deterrent for warm days!

Hello Alison, It's the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries, isn't it? Here's to getting away from it all more often!

Hill Cottage is in a nice location with easy parking. Lovely patio and rear garden for outdoor eating. The large caravan park to the rear of the property doesn't impact at all on the cottage. Inside the cottage is well appointed with all facilities with a recently fitted well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. Very clean throughout. Both bedrooms are very comfortable and very clean and have lovely views. The cottage has the added bonus of a downstairs toilet and small conservatory for. We would definitely go again. Highly recommended.
