Wonderful cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the stream at the front of the house. Brilliant location for getting to walks, and great pubs in the village. We ended up parking at the church which worked well, as the parking space was a bit tight.

This was our 5th stay here as we love it. Location is perfect above a babbling beck in the heart of Braithwaite. Lovely, comfortable home from home with plenty of walks nearby. Cottage is very well equipped and was lovely and warm. I'm sure we'll return. Very close to Keswick too.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely setting and very conveniently located for the roads. The bathroom was really well heated and doubled as an excellent drying room for our kit, and the lovely set of Wainwright's Pictorial Guides gave us lots of insight into the fells we were walking on. Village shop is good and convenient. We opted to parRead morek at the church after the first day as the allocated parking is awkward for large vehicles (we came in a family estate).
