A very warm welcome to Highbank, a delightful detached house in a very sought-after area of charming Keswick. Sleeping up to six people in three comfortable bedrooms, with stunning fell views and all just an easy walk from the bustling town centre, it really makes a wonderful base for a family or small group of friends to enjoy this wonderful area. Highbank boasts lovely socialising spaces, gardens that make the most of all the available sunshine and its own off street parking, which is truly a bonus during Keswick's busier months. Added to all this the owners have used light fresh decor, comfortable furnishings and local photography to create a warm and welcoming holiday home.

Situated in a quiet residential area of Keswick, Highbank is perfectly placed whether you feel like pottering in to the bustling centre of the town or whether you'd rather stay out of the hubbub and make the most of the unparalleled natural surroundings. The town is well known for being the Lake District's adventure capital, boasting a vast array of adrenaline fuelled activities for visitors to sample. If a rather more sedate visit is to your taste then the town has plenty to offer too with wonderful pubs, excellent eateries, museums, not to mention a great range of independent and outdoor shops. Young families are well catered for with a leisure pool, climbing walls, crazy golf and a great play park all within easy walking distance. For a cultural evening why not walk down to the beautifully situated Theatre By The Lake which shows a wide programme of drama, comedy, music and events throughout the year?

If you're hoping to don your walking boots and enjoy the great outdoors then you could scarcely be better placed. Take a walk to Walla Crag, Great Wood or Bleaberry Fell right from the end of the road. Alternatively, should you be ready for a bigger adventure, then head up to mighty Skiddaw which stands guard over the town. You could always pack a picnic and head over to Derwentwater's shores via the charming path through Springs Wood across the road or for a treat, why not hop on board one of the Keswick launches to lap up the glorious scenery from the water? However you choose to spend your visit, Highbank provides a great jumping off point.
