A door from the yard leads into the hallway where there is under-stair storage area and a door to the living room.
The living room benefits from newly fitted central heating and a cosy red brick fireplace with a wood burner. There is comfortable seating and a TV. Stairs lead to the first floor. A door leads into the kitchen dining room which benefits from Velux roof lights. There a dining area with table and chairs and the kitchen is well equipped for family catering.
Upstairs, the first double bedroom has a beamed ceiling and an ensuite shower room, there are fell views from the bedroom.
The main bathroom has a bath, washbasin and WC.
The second bedroom has sash windows and twin beds and the third bedroom has a single bed and houses the hot water tank. Brand new central heating was fitted in November 2016.
*Two traditional wooden hot tubs have been installed in the grounds offering stunning views of the Lorton valley. The hot tub is shared with the other cottages on site and must be booked in advance at time of booking to ensure all guests have an opportunity to use them. Please contact Diana, the owner, if you would like to reserve a hot tub on a first come first serve (£10 a night for a minimum of 3 nights to cover the cost of fuel and water)*
Free range chickens roam the shared gardens so please keep dogs on a lead whilst outside. Diana provides a special "dogs run free" area that has been fenced to 4ft and allows owners and their dogs to enjoy the peace and quiet of Lorton in a secure area.
