Herdwick Cottage is a delightful slate-fronted cottage, which dates back to the 1800s and has been beautifully and sensitively restored throughout using traditional materials and luxury fixtures and fittings. It oozes rustic charm, with slate flag floors, oak latch doors, sash windows and cast iron radiators. A real gem of a Lake District cottage!
With a spacious open-plan living space, a gorgeous modern kitchen and two charming double bedrooms, both ensuite, the house is well suited to two couples. The comfy sofas with matching woollen throws and roaring log burner fire will be just the tonic after a day out on the fells. Herdwick Cottage has the added advantage of off-road parking for one car, which is a rarity in the centre of Grasmere.
