A great cottage in a stunning, isolated location. Very comfortable and well equipped. The only real downside was the Aga wasn't ideal for cooking for 8 people and the instructions for it we're quite complex. Managed to work with it though!

Hi Tom, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay, it's the perfect place to kick back and relax isn't it? And the Borrowdale valley is stunning, I hope you enjoyed exploring. I'm sorry to hear you had some trouble with the Aga, they can take some getting used to. I'm glad you managed in the end, I'll see if the instructions can be simplified to help future guests. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

The location is fabulous with outstanding views and the additional advantage of being able to walk straight from the cottage. Gratitude has all the modern comforts, is well looked after and provided us with a cosy family home for our weeks stay.

Excellent stay loved the cottage, it was very well equipped and decorated beautifully we had a great time, only problem I saw was the battery operated candles didn’t all work and maybe they should be checked before the next guests,
