Gowrie is a large Victorian country house arranged over three floors. It provides comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to eight people who will enjoy breath-taking views from the property and the one-acre garden in one of the most picturesque valleys of the Lake District.
The entrance to the property is through a very well equipped utility room leading to a spacious kitchen with an AGA and a large, extendable dining table. The views are to the large garden at the back of the property.
The kitchen leads to a hall of which there is access to a comfortable and bright lounge with a TV, log burner and large windows opening up to stunning views to the fells. There is a second sitting room on the ground floor, which is equipped with TV, DVD, Xbox and books and is a perfect place for kids to play in the evening.
The property has a washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher and a medium sized fridge freezer.
On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a king bed, a family bathroom, a twin room and a double bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite shower.
On the second floor there is a large twin attic room.
The outdoors kids play area is equipped with swings and slides and overlooks a very large, tiered garden to the back of the property.
Parking for 2 cars is available right next to Gowrie with additional public parking spaces just seconds walk from the cottage.
